Once the Forest County Potawatomi saw how much time and money Tribal eProcurement saved their procurement process, they wondered how it could simplify travel budgets and requisitions. Since most trips involved five vendors (airfare, seminar, hotel, rental car and per diem), they wanted a way for employees to make and review requests as simply as possible.

Since all necessary infrastructure improvements had been made for Tribal eProcurement, we only had to map the workflows specific to their travel planning and accounting. Installation and training went smoothly, and now all employees in all 38 tribal departments use Tribal eTravel to plan, pay for and document their trips. The results? Lower costs, better budget management, quicker approvals, and a much happier accounting department.
